Green River, Brownsville.

Location of the Green River Lock and Dam #6 that was removed a few years ago. So long, we don't miss you.

Just out pecking around, staying away from people.

My kind of day for shooting, moody sky. Short road trip.
I had gone to the park to get some waterfall shots, but forgot my tripod (actually thought I had left it in the car).
The bottom photo is a hand held pano. About 10 shots stitched together in lightroom. Had never tried that handheld before. Turned out surprisingly well. Will do that more.
The first one, well, your mileage may vary on that one. I like it.

It started out ominous looking, but turned out great.

Well, my weather app showed rain and thunderstorms for later in the day. The sky was fairly dark, it was very windy, and I was thinking 'this is a mistake' as I started out on the lake. But things calmed down and it was a good day.

McCoy Hollow Falls from up top, and to the side.

This waterfall is an easy short hike (well the top is an easy hike, haven't been to the bottom). I'll put this on my list for a trip after a big rain.

It could be noted that I made liberal use of editing to remove limbs that were - in the way. There, I feel better now.

From the top of the falls at Piney.

Didn't have my camera with me. These are from an iphone app that takes multiple photos and merges them together to get long exposure effects. Not as good as the canon, but surprisingly good for hand held.
