Back again, dogwood season.

I said I'd come back in a few days. The dogwoods are great. This is, of course, Fairview Cemetery. Probably the best dogwood spot in Bowling Green.
No fancy tripods, polarizers or neutral density filters today - just a little B&W and LOTS of cropping.

My next idea for this location is to come back at night, maybe I won't get kicked out.

The dogwoods are in bloom, and I have time to kill.

Last fall, I had pretty good success in this cemetery on a foggy morning. I have planned on shooting here for years during the spring dogwood blooming season. I had some time to kill Friday, so I did (kill time here), then came back early Saturday morning for a little more. Like I said, I had time to kill, so I shot a lot of 30 second shots (10x ND filter), which fuzzes the trees, and streaks the clouds. If you can't dazzle them with good shots, then baffle them with funky shots.

Officially, the theme is dogwood blooms, but you can't tell by looking.

Friday afternoon:
A little heavy on the polarizer. (above)

Yes, it hasn't been that long since I have been here - point taken. It is an interesting location, and I will be here a lot in varying conditions. All the dogwoods hadn't yet peaked, so I'll probably go back in a few days.
