The eagles aren't gone!

These photos are from pretty far away and are heavily cropped. I thought it was going to be a bust again (as in the past two weekends) but I saw one eagle fly in. It started chirping. Soon, the other flew in from behind. Both started chirping - a lot. Not in a distressed way though - just chirping. I don't know why, I guess they do. So, good day, far away eagles, turtles, sandpiper, and some other small bird.

Rotten fish - It's what's for dinner!

Well, went up to Nolin lake the past two weekends. Didn't see any eagles, not even on the nest. Bummer, I don't think they are around, but I hope I'm wrong. I'll try to get back up again next weekend to check it out. 

So, a heron, then a buzzard having dinner.
