The eagle shots are at max zoom (600mm), and cropped really tight (need bigger glass!). The 'almost whole tree' eagle shot is at min zoom (150mm) no crop.

Dam Pelicans!

Rainy day, decided to do a road trip to LBL. There were several white pelicans at both the Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake dams. It was very overcast and I stayed until nearly dark. Some of these are fairly noisy especially the later ones. Here you go - dam pelicams, with a grumpy (looking) dam heron thrown in.

Goose.

Came for the snow. Stayed for the water.

One of my favorites, Wet Prong of Buffalo Creek. I thought it would be nice down there with the snow fall. Once I got down into the valley, there was not so much snow. No reason to waste a trip, so... more wet prong of buffalo creek photos.
