The heavily saturated shots were just after a rain and under heavy tree and brush cover. These were up to one second exposures. The darkness made focusing a chore, but really saturated the color. Fortunately frogs sit still fairly well (or they don't). I am getting a little motion blur on a number of shots, where the frog moved slightly, but I took plenty.
I did see one of the frogs slap a bug off his head for a small snack while I was looking through the lens. Well, actually it was so fast, I just saw a blur.
I went a bit overboard with the number of pictures posted this time. Oh well.
TUESDAY UPDATE: Wow, my legs are itching. I knew I was lunch for some mosquitoes but I now realize I was on the verge of being eaten alive!
